This little museum bulges with original artifacts, including a Reclining Buddha. A few of the labels have some English but a guide is essential. For us, a staff guide spoke and our own tour guide translated.

You can visit this museum in 30 mins, but if you are lucky you might meet a friendly lady who would tell you stories about Sogdia and Bactria. The Buddha is a must if you are in Dushanbe
