The company did a wonderful job in arranging an 11 day itinerary through Fergana, Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara and Khiva. We really enjoyed the rich history as well as the natural and man made sites in Uzbekistan. The many guides and drivers we had in each city helped to explain the people's fascinating Silk Road history and their many contributions to advancements in World science, art and culture. Central Asia Travel did a wonderful job in also including experiential tour experiences - a beautiful mountain hike in Samarkand, a pottery session in Fergana and a plov (pullao) cooking session in Bukhara - that really helped us experience some daily life aspects with the locals. We came away from this tour with a great appreciation of the country and it's people. This was certainly one of this best planned and happily surprising vacations I've ever had!

Thank you Central Asia Travel for your unforgettable journey, comfort, warm cozy environment, attention to every participant in any program! Huge thanks to Viktor Viktorovich and Nastya for the warm welcome, organization of the whole team and every employee. Even the four-legged favorites of base camp friendly escorted us and met us on the routes. The team’s teamwork determines the camp environment and the comfort of all visitors to the mountains. And it is so important - at 3,600 to be in balance, comfort and friendly team of climbers, tourists, guides and everyone who helps organize extreme holidays. The chef and the girls working in the yurts-café are greatly thanked for their delicious breakfasts, lunches and dinners, for their speed and coherence. To have time to feed several dozen hungry travelers, while respecting the variety of dishes, speed of preparation and serving - expensive!!!! We'll come back to you for sure. This is the best alpaca!!!!

My husband and I went to Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan as our honeymoon in September 2024.
We had a wonderful, unforgettable time. Both places are beautiful with a rich history, and the contrast between both creates a well rounded trip. This is our first time using a tour, as we tend to do our own organizing and driving. However because our lack of knowledge of the region (and abililty to read road signs), we opted for Central Asia Travel.
The trip was incredibly well-organized and we felt very supported, thanks to Olga. There was an instance where we asked to switch out of a resort for a new hotel (the resort was hosting a triathlon, which prevented us from using the amenities), and within 30 minutes Olga found us a new hotel that was even better. When we asked to switch to a high-speed train for one of the legs of our journey, Olga was able to get us tickets (previously they were sold out). Additionally, we opted to not do the third country on our tour (Tajikistan) in favor of Almaty, Kazakstan and our needs were easily met. Olga kept in constant communication, and went above and beyond to make sure we had a smooth trip.
The guides were each unique and knowledgeable, with excellent English, and provided different flavors and context to each site we visited. The drivers were very safe. The itinerary was well planned, with a lot of variety and options.
We highly recommend visiting Central Asia and using Central Asia Travel!

Great expedition! I visited Central Asia in July this year and it was one of the best trips of my life. I was brought to her by the company @leninpeakexpedition, which organizes excursion tours to the mountains. The expertise of their work is simply excellent - we were all satisfied with the quality of service and living conditions in the base camps. The team was also wonderful - they were true professionals in their work and were always by my side during the climb to one of the highest peaks in Central Asia. It was an unforgettable experience that gave me a lot of new knowledge and feelings. If you want to experience the very beauty of the world, I recommend contacting @leninpeakexpedition!

Going to visit Uzbekistan had been my dream for a long time. As an avid traveler I had the opportunity to visit many places around the world, but was told that the history and beauty of Uzbekistan is incomparable. After a long research I chose this tour agency and had the trip of my lifetime. From the very beginning the staff has shown their high level of professionalism: they had been very responsive to all of my inquiries, they answered emails right away and went out of their way to accommodate me. What an amazing team of professionals. The tour was incredible, hotels were like palaces (although they were 3 stars, they were better than some of the 5 star hotels I've been to), food was delicious and the gem of the trip was our tour guide Evgeniya a knowledgeable expert of the history of this beautiful country. Throughout the trip I and the rest of our group felt that we were taken care of, Evgeniya made sure that all of our needs were addressed, provided pertinent information, and was literally our angel. Professional, knowledgeable and thoughtful/caring she made sure each member of the group received personalized attention. I can not recommend this tour agency enough.....and after traveling almost all over the world I've seen and experienced enough to compare.
I took the classical tour of Uzbekistan (Tashkent, Bukhara, Samarkhand, Khiva) was it was mind blowing. Make sure to go to Khiva as its a real gem. You would literally feel as if you are relieving the movie "The Magic Lamp of Aladdin".

We are completely satisfied with the service and communication and have to thank you.
All our wishes regarding the course of the trip were taken into account and all agreements were respected. 0 stress and 0 worries on the way.
The communication worked lightning fast and the handling/tone of this communication were accommodating and pleasant. All the hotels they booked for us were great and all the guides who accompanied us were very educated and professional.
We highly recommend "Central Asia Tour". L. Libourkine, Switzerland

We made a spectacular trip with Central Asia Travel to Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan. The organization of our trip by Julia was exceptional. From the first moment he understood the type of trip we wanted to make and has proposed a completely personalized itinerary to our preferences.
The information received throughout the process has been detailed and accurate, with particular reference to the ease of entry into Turkmenistan.
The itinerary, hotels, meals and guides (Spanish speaking) have been perfect: Professional, friendly, detailed and concerned to adapt the program to our style and interests.
Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan are two exceptional destinations, with many interesting things to see and do, and tremendously hospitable people, and the organization with Central Asia Travel has made it an experience out of 10 highly recommended.

We went on the Classic Uzbekistan tour 10.28 - 11.03 and traveled with the group throughout the country: Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara, Khiva. Although we knew where we were going, we were very pleasantly surprised by the level of service and attitude. Our guide Mahmud Abilov accompanied us throughout the trip. He talked about everything with his soul, very interestingly, but at the same time he didn’t try to just stuff it with facts, but in such a way that a good impression was left. I liked the level of organization and the availability of sufficient free time, since it was possible not only to run through the sights, of which there are simply a lot, but also to feel at least a little bit of the atmosphere. Uzbekistan is amazing, it left me wanting to come back again.

Central Asia Travel is the tour company you want. Our group of six enjoyed three weeks of mostly hassle free (it is travel after all...) fun and adventure in Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan. This was our first "tour" in eight years of traveling together. We were a bit leery of handing over the logistics to someone else, but hiring Central Asia Travel turned out to be a smart decision.
Olga at CAT worked diligently and attentively to custom build a tour for just the six of us. She listened to us, advised us, probably humored us, and delivered a trip we'll always remember. She paid great attention to detail and it paid off. Our drivers competently maneuvered some pretty challenging roads. Our guides were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful--especially our beloved Gulzina in Kyrgyzstan. The hotel choices were right on. We saw what we wanted to see and did what we wanted to do. It was all pretty seamless thanks to Olga. She is very solution oriented. The few times we hit snags, Olga was understanding, responsive, and did whatever was necessary to make it all work. Our Stans or Bust tour was a success.
Oh and by the way, we thought the tour price was a great value for all we got. Especially the peace of mind.

I went on a tour of Uzbekistan (Tashkent/Samarkand/Bukhara/Khiva) from March 27 to April 3, 2024. The hosting party is the company "Central Asia Travel". 1. Placement. My least favorite was the Silk Road Hotel in Bukhara. The room had old feather pillows. At breakfast (buffet) there was no fruit or halva (there were some in other hotels). A separate story is the quality of toilet paper (all tourists were a little shocked) at the Kala Hotel in Bukhara. Like sandpaper... The first 2 hotels - in Tashkent (one night there) and in Samarkand (I got a luxury room) were much better. 2. Excursions. Why wasn't our group given an audio guide system? The second group along the same route listened to their guide through headphones. We had to listen, and it didn’t always work out on the street (group of 28 people). The guide Sherzod is good, with excellent knowledge of the language, friendly, but spends too much time asking questions from tourists (not always on topic), distracting from the excursion itself. Overall, he coped with his task. The impressions were good. Add Wi-Fi to the bus (Dmitry had it in his minivan on the first day of arrival in Tashkent!) and an audio guide for all tourists (not just one group) and it will be great!
3.Program. Very rich! There were long journeys, but thanks to the comfortable bus (thanks to our driver Otabek) and the stories of the guide, they were easy. There were sanitary stops at roadside cafes. When driving through the desert to Khiva, we did not stop at the observation deck stated in the program. We just drove off the road somewhere into the sands and started going down to the river, but due to our proximity to the border, the locals asked us to get back on the bus. It was not possible to walk along the picturesque dunes. Don't mislead tourists! But this was perhaps the only moment the program was not implemented. In general, we saw everything we wanted. Thanks to guide Sherzod and driver Otabek!
