As said by a tour leader, there are around 3200 mosques in Istanbul. But this one is really special: pretty huge and mesmerizing. You need to follow the dress code before entering it. There are also very nice roof cafes around this mosque.

I was excited about the simplicity of the tomb, there was no extraordinary decoration or architectural features, or even any guard box, the tomb was so simple which reflects the essential Islamic thought about the death.

Once you have visited the Suleymaniye Mosque you can visit the tomb of Suleiman the Magnificent and his family which is nearby. Suleiman's tomb is decked out for a sultan with elaborate tile work.
