Great sporting pub. Good service good beer.

Right in the centre if the European side of Istanbul. Good atmosphere and good quick service. Toilets were spotless and overall a good spot.

This pub feels like the real deal; it is warm and cozy, with a good selection of beer and spirits as well as good pub fare. A highly recommended night out with friends.

Do NOT go into this pub especially if you are not Turkish. We brought 4 small Emes ( local beer) and they charged us 64 Lira ! That's about £15 ! Smirnoff and coke is 28 Lira a go. Total rip off. Avoid at all costs !

So so beer in an English style pub. But expect to pay WELL over the odds for your drinks. They charge you more if you're English rather than Turkish. Avoid at all costs. Rip off merchants.

Two pints of LOCAL beer (EFES) cost TKY 35, about 12 Euro. I don't like always asking the price before I buy but I should have in this pub; I would not have stayed. That's more expensive than my home country (Ireland). Imported beers are often expensive but this is exorbitant for local produce. The only other similar place I... More

expect to pay $10 for a Guinness. The fish and chips were soggy. Yes, they have great coverage. Even was able to see a Michigan v OSU game here. But the prices are more than 2x anywhere else in Istanbul. They are preying on tourists.

We went to this pub because my husband wanted to watch the Formula 1 race, and this pub has lots of sports TV to offer. Atmosphere is nice and they do have many football games and other sports events to offer on their screens. But we were seriously unhappy when the time came to pay, because they charged us 35... Although it looks like an authentic British pub, the attention is not that close . I went to watch a rugby match and I was not going to drink immediately. The person who was with me bought a pint and when she was going to pay for it, one of the bar tenders took off the beer from her hands... More

Used in September to see a football match and drink good bier. In the heart of Istanbul (close to Sultanahmet) Nice place with good table organization in a typical British style. good variety of biers and other drinks

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
