After a boat trip of 1,5 hours I had the possibility of exploring Anadolu Kavağı, which offers some idyllic corners not only for photographers. Leaving the area of the iskele you can either walk up to the ruins and enjoy the panorama (incl. the new,...More

It's a picturesque little fishing port, but not as lively as expected. The drive was an hour-long from centre of Istanbul, it is easy and nice, only congestion is at peak hours when coming back. You pass nice little villages so get your cameras ready....More

This is a huge tourist trap, and you get a lot of hassle from the restaurant owners, but it has some redeeming features, its quaint, lively and has a lovely outlook, and if you look well enough some good places to eat. Its the last...More

This was the only stop before returning back on the Bosphorus Cruise. Cute little town. Very quiet and it’s a good little stop to have a Turkish coffee, tea, smoke hookah or have some ice cream before boat ride back. Very quiet here

The walk up to yoros castle is definitely worth it, and you should have ample time to complete the walk as well as sit down for a lunch if you come on the SH Bosporus cruise. Stay away from Mercan Aile, and perhaps be careful...More

Just forgot to mention, there is a Tourist Information Center at Eminonu Pier. They could help out regarding the ferry or any other questions. I wish you a great time.
