I visited their store on 19 August with my 12 year old daughter, taken there by our tour guide. As described by others, they gave us a warm welcome offered a "fashion show" and drinks. This was followed by the routine described by others: labels with very high prices, discounted just for us, just that day.
In the end, my daughter loved a black reversible leather coat and wanted to buy it. She put me on the spot, because I was truly short of funds (even if they accepted credit cards). He brought the price down to 200 euros from an initial price close to 500. I know nothing about the features, quality or prices of leather clothes. But in the end, I just told him I could not afford it, and as we parted, he was very amicable. He even had someone fix the handle of my rollie bag, which had been damaged by the airline.
Now, here is the clincher: after I returned home to France, I looked for a similar leather coat, seeing my daughter's birthday is coming. Nothing cheaper than € 600, and they are non-reversible. And none as classy in design as the one my daughter liked.
What I learned is that, regardless of their sale tactics, they seem to sell good products at a good price.
So, my advice is, get off your high horses. In all countries I have lived in, companies bombard us with advertisement that is quite deceptive, they have frequent "sales", and when chain stores genuinely sell us low price quality products, it is at the expense of exploited workers in third world countries.
I, for one, wish I could have afforded the jacket my daughter fell in love with, and am thankful for their hospitality.
Their sale tactics reflect their culture, and they are much more deceptive in western countries. So much so, that you can not even see you are being taken or complain about it.
So, I for one, am thankful and wish them well.

My parents bought me a leather jacket from this establishment whilst on holiday. No doubt that the quality of leather is good, blah blah blah but it is definitely NOT worth the USD 750 price tag. They basically cheated my parents, who are an aged Asian couple who are part of a tour group.

Please ask your parents if they are the only ones who bought jackets from baggio rossini? There are a lot of tour groups and a lot of visitors who understand the leather quality. Thank you

I bought a jacket 1 month ago at your store in Izmir, Turkey. Unfortunately the leather is coming off and that shouldn't happen to a new leather jacket of such an expensive price.

I have tried to contact them but no one answers my emails

No doubt some of the best lamb skin leather jackets are from Turkey. But sometimes with some brilliant sales tactics the pricing of some companies can be very deceptive.

Normally the downside of any guided tour in Turkey is the shopping - olive oil, pottery and leather jackets.

First on the bus ride, your tour guide will give a fantastic review of the leather jackets and claims they supply for world renowned brands like Burberry or Gucci. Than with a Turkish Tea, a runaway fashion shows with beautiful models - and a few volunteers from your tour group will parade with the latest leather jacket models.

Than the sales extravaganza starts. In Turkey all price tags are in Turkish Lira. But in this shops the prices are quoted in US$, AUS$ or Euro according to the target tour group - a deceptive pricing tactic. Since the prices are high in US$, AUS$ or Euro , they will offer a 50% and on top of that another 10% discount. Sometimes further discounts are given. But actually if you calculate in Turkish Lira, finally you will pay the same price in the price tag (which is actually in Turkish Lira) or more. Actually No discounts given. Fantastic sales tactics to deceive customers.

Should it be unethical to influence people to make a purchase decision??

Though some shops are "Kind" enough to refund if you make a complaint, but it will be a unpleasant experience and not worth the buy.

So be very careful with the pricing tactics when you visit and purchase a leather jacket even in big establish shops.

Happy Shopping and be a smart shopper !!

Visiting this establishment provided us with a valuable lesson.. VISITOR BEWARE...
Why? A most impressive welcome in an impressive environment, a fashion parade and an invitation to the warehouse full of well designed fashion leather garments, provided us with an irrestible desire to purchase.....The only problem was the somewhat deceptive pricing of these garments...

All garments had price tags...when we questioned these, we were politely informed by the sales' staff that prices were negotiable at point of sale (Cashier)... There we were informed that the prices on the tags were in Australian Dollars ???? Incredible??? then we were told that a 50% discount will apply... In fact, the price tags were in Turkish Lira and since the conversion to Australian Dollars was approximately 50% NO DISCOUNT was given... DECEPTIVE....

Further investigation on the website of this company confirmed that garment prices were in Turkish Lira, reasonable in the circumstances, and it would appear that the seller at the warehouse, wrongfully enticed tourists to purchase by deception, relying on monetary conversion ....

Thoughtlessly, we fell into this trap and purchased two leather coats...then, complained to our Tour Guide and insisted on returning these coats, stating the above mentioned, as reason for our decision to return these coats... Luckily the supplier accepted this return and kindly refunded our money BUT THE EXPERIENCE WAS MOST UNPLEASANT...SO PLEASE BE AWARE OF THE TACTICS USED BY MERCHANTS...Merchants chosen by Tour Companies, perhaps for self benefit....

Our tour guide took us here. If we had known in advance, we would have asked to visit a different leather factory. Like many of the other raters, we found that the beautiful leather jacket that we bought quickly fell apart. We subsequently went through much back and forth attempting to get satisfaction from the manager. Luckily, we had used a credit card and were able to suspend payment, at which point he promised to replace the jacket. We are currently waiting for our replacement jacket to arrive. We'll see.

I travelled to Turkey with a group of 45 people and we visited Baggio Rossini leather.
We were told that prices were in US dollars but since we were Canadian they would consider the price tag to be in Canadian dollars and on top of that they would give an extra rebate...
The prices are in Turkish Lira, as would be normal in Turkey and with all the rebates they gave, we ended up paying the exact value that was written on the price tag.

They sell their own brand leather jackets and some bags. Not really cheap but if you know how to distinguish good leather, then go for it!

However they also sell a whole array of fake goods from Chanel, Prada., Burberry, MK, Mulberry, LV, Bottega ...etc. with the convincing argument that they manufacture for these brands and the items are just short of an official register stamp from the brands! Something like Factory outlet store!

The price of a LV Neverfull was around USD360 and the stitching started falling off after one day. Still they insisted that theirs is Authentic genuine leather bla bla and then offered free exchange. We complained to our local tour company and after much hostile exchange from our Turkish tour guide, we got a full cash refund.

I went here as an optional excursion with a tour group that I was on - the tour group is very reputable. However, if they want to keep their good reputation they need to stop offering this leather shop on their optional excursions.
The leather shop claims to manufacture coats and jackets to high-end names such as Gucci and Louis Vuitton, however, buyer beware on their claims. The price listed have no currency identification although the sales people told us the prices listed are in US dollars - we were an American tour group. Later after doing some research on line, it appeared that the prices may have been in Turkish Lira so substantially less than US dollars. Please do your research before buying. Luckily for our tour group nobody made a purchase. I don’t know why the tour group would want to associate with a less than reputable business.
