We hired a knowledgeable guide, highly recommended, and spend 3-4 hours with him and then walked around ourselves. So old, so amazing, so much history happened there.

Ephesus is one of the great archeological sites of the world. You can spend a lot of time here. We did not have time to see the terrace houses and hope to see it on a subsequent trip.

I recommend you not to go there directly and take a guide who tries to be guide of the random people. I can recommend you to book a guided tour from jollytur or even on tripadvisor !
