Nice little place of real interest

Having read the reviews first I was expecting a shop disguised as a museum, but in actual fact I found a nice little museum that I enjoyed myself in with a friend. The lady gently drew our attention to some points of interest and had a clear emphasis on the museum rather than what was for sale. It is true... More

Wonderful array of artefacts all well arranged. The people there are keen to talk about their culture and the efforts to preserve it. Don't miss the Banksy Dove on the wall outside.

This is a shop where one may purchase beautiful locally handmade products as well as gain a greater understanding of and appreciation for Palestine. The goods are of excellent quality, all handmade, and proceeds go to help Palestinian families in need. One may also gain a deeper understanding as to the plight of the Palestinian families and the difficulties they... More

It's mostly a shop with some ornaments to see. There's are some nice things around to look at but pretty pricey to buy anything. Worth a visit if you have some spare time.

A wide selection of largely local, hand-made products of various degrees of quality are on show in this emporium that seems to be patronised almost exclusively by coach parties on the 'Jerusalem/Bethlehem' circuit.

all Palestinian hand made, we met the owner of the shop, she's a great woman. The place sells products that was made by Palestinian mothers and sisters which support their families.

Love this place, where you can (if you like) get a low-down of the history and culture of "tatreez" (Palestinian folk embroidery) from the owner/proprietor Maha. Here, you could try on some clothes in both contemporary and traditional designs, purchase some embroidered home decor (cushions and the like), jewellery, or even have a rest in the old-fashioned traditional-style red-black patterned... Yes it has some good museum pieces of life in Palestine in former times, but it's really just a shop trying to sell you expensive souvenirs. It's also really dusty! You are better off visiting the newly opened museum near Solomons Pools which really IS a museum and is fabulous.
