We had such fun in the Dead Sea, floating around, just be very careful not to get any water into your eyes it will burn like crazy for a long time. The other thing not to do is taste the water, the taste is so strong that it too takes a long time to go.

It was the best sulfur bath (which is not located in the hotel) however due to the swallow-holes which has been developed in the area it is closed to public.

The last time we visited "Mineral Beach" was 2014. Now we wanted to go there again. But it was closed. And is has been closed from the beginning of 2015. It is a real pitty, because it was in my opinion the beste beach on the Dead Sea.

There is not much I can say about visit the dead sea. It is an absolute MUST experience thing to do while in Israel. It is historic, great scenery -pictures and breath taking view on its own. it is so calming and soothing for the soul. I loved every minute there and felt very envious due to its overall feel.... Great experience! We went in Feb and it was a bit chilly but we still went in to experience it! The water is sort of oily. Very weird! I loved it. Nothing else around. We traveled up to see some old ruins afterwards with a family friend. Highly recommendable but would have been nicer if it were a bit warmer.

Mineral Beach is the best beach section for those who want to be properly pampered. It has enough shady spots with tables and chairs, cafeteria, shop with Dead Sea products, a large shower room with toilets and also you can book massages there!
