Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Fantastic view from vista point over mountains country and Eilat bay. Red and black stone mountains, peaks, valleys, gorges up to horizon- unforgettable expression. The view point is reachable by conventional car, but it is challenged drive, be very careful.

From the plateau here you will have an impressive view over mountains, the Red Sea and three neighboring countries. but the best is the massive migration og large birds such as storks, eagles and a stream of thousands of buzzards which may pass in mornings and afternoons in Marsh-April, Yearly over 1 million large birds passes Eilat and this spot i definately the best to see this impressive, but very silent sight. You may ask visitors what´s around, most are helpful and come from many countries, especially Scandinavia

10 minutes drive from Eilat towards the mountains is Mount Joash (left parking, caution crossing road)
You can get on foot, get up to 20 minutes a little challenging or you can climb a bit with the vehicle, the road a little tricky.
At the top of the mountain you can see a stunning view of 4 countries - Israel, Egypt, Jordan and Saudi Arabia.
The Red Sea and the Eilat mountains are an amazing spectacle worth the climb for him (it's a winning photo on Instagram).
I highly recommend going there at sunrise .... Enjoy

A not-too-high lookout on the Israel-Jordan border, just off route 12. A steep but not hard 15 minute climb along the cliff (path is wide, but don't try it when wet) to a 360 panoramic outlook of the area. The view is truly breathtaking, but there are several other lookouts nearby which offer the same or better.
Perfect as a chaser to the Red Canyon, if you have the strength.
Park at the bottom. DO NOT try to drive up unless you have a high 4*4.

We were meeting friends at Red Canyon and had an hour to kill. We Stopped at the car park at the bottom of Mount Yoash and spent 10-15mins walking up and another 15 minutes at the top looking out at both of the lookouts ( the views of everywhere are incredible- it was a shame that it was a hazy day).
We then walked back down to the car and drove off to Red Canyon (10 minutes away).

Overall, a very recommended was of spending 45 minutes....or longer if you have the time.

We were on the way from Mitzpe Ramon to Eilat and we stop there to have a look on the view and eat lunch in the summit.
It was pretty windy there so we found a small ditch to hide and eat.
The view was great and you could see SInai and Eilat bay.

The Mount Yoash observation point is near highway 12 with it's neighboring attractions. It is a steep climb from the main road and the access road is poorly maintained, so drive there only with an appropriate car. Once you get there enjoy the lovely view of the desert mountains 4 countries - Israel, Egypt, Jordan and Saudi Arabia.

Great view on the way to Red Canyon. The access road is suitable for offroad vehicles. We made it with our Ford Focus up to the summit but we were quite afraid about the car. The view depends on the amount of dust in the air. If you see Acaba clearly from Eilat, go here it will be good as well.
