We had a great time with Itmar guiding us, he’s very knowledgeable and helpful and overall a fun guy. Really enjoyed our cross-cultural and cross-religious conversations and learning about the Jewish culture and religion. I definitely learned a lot and would highly recommend him to all. Great work my man!

Itamar gave us a wonderful tour of the Dead Sea Area with our children and grandchildren. He took us to Massada, Ein Gedi and The Dead Sea. He was very knowledgable and terrific with the grandkids. He altered the itinerary as we went along to make sure everyone had the best time. He is a sweet guy...we would tour with him again.

We had the best time touring with Itamar! He is such a knowledgeable guide and made our tours so fun. He is well-connected in the city which meant he knew of great excursions that were not known to many and which we got to experience - that was very special. As Christians, we were looking for an Israeli guide who was local but who knew the Bible - Itamar knew more than we did about both the Old & New Testaments. He was able to compare and contrast Judaism with Christianity in a way that made our learning experience so enhanced. We hope to return and tour with Itamar again soon! Ps. - if you are looking for a taste of Itamar’s tours, search ‘Itamar Ben David’ on Youtube and you will find many great videos of his.

From booking till the end of our day tour of Jerusalem, it was a pleasure working with Itamar.
Itamar‘s explanation of the sites he took us to covered the historical, spiritual and secular dimensions of them.
He was also so kind and courteous as he interacted with us.
If asked, Itamar would be my recommendation for anything Jerusalem, any day, anytime.

Itamar was a fabulous tour guide, very highly recommend him. We did two days in Jerusalem and two days in the surrounding area. He is extremely knowledgeable and does a particularly great job with putting all the locations and history into context so you understand why things are important and special. In addition we were travelling with 6 kids ages 5-12 and he did a phenomenal job keeping them interested and involved, even bringing costumes and props and having the kids act out different events and activities.

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience with Itamar. Over the course of several days he helped Israel’s history come alive for our group which included six young children. Through costumes, activities and questions he managed to keep everyone engaged and provided us with context for all the historical sites we visited and helped us understand the ins and outs of modern Israel. We traveled on foot, in a van and even on the train, all without incident. He was very patient and knowledgeable, always with a smile on his face. Would highly recommend, especially for groups with small children.

My husband and I had planned a trip to Israel with our children and grandchildren. Having been to Israel multiple times ourselves, we figured we would be able to guide our family for much of the trip. Then my husband fell sick, and we couldn’t go. But rather than cancel the trip for everyone, we arranged for our children and grandchildren to go without us and hired Itamar as a guide. I am so glad that we did. Although my husband and I were not physically on the trip, we felt like we were virtually there. Itamar took photos of the family wherever they went, and sent them to us immediately. The reports we got from our adult children and from our grand children, ages, 12 to 5, were fabulous. He managed to make thousands of years of history come alive for them. Our children appreciated Itamar’s ability to handle the age range of the youngsters, while also providing informative lessons for the adults. The sites he chose to visit were traditional, yet a little bit off the beaten path. For example, they went to the well-known stalactite cave, where they all marveled at the lime stone creations. And then he took them to smaller caves that the children could actually crawl into. They were thrilled.
They happened to go during the hottest part of July, and I was concerned about how the children were going to manage in the heat. But between scheduling the most exposed sites early in the day, and hiring a modern, air-conditioned, 12 passenger van for the trips into the desert (and stopping for frequent drinks and slushies), Itamar managed to keep everyone hydrated, and the children from complaining too much about the heat.
Besides providing guided tours for my family in and around Jerusalem for four days, Itamar was very helpful in directing them for where to go for additional activities. He pointed out a number of activities that did not require a guide, and rather than pay him for a day of guiding, he advised them to rent a car and go to those places by themselves, which they did.
We were totally happy with Itamar as a guide, and I would recommend him in a minute.

Best tour I ever had in Israel! I've done multiple tours in Jerusalem and Itamar is an amazing guide. His crazy knowledge about the city and history is mind blowing, and he conveys it in an informative and entertaining way.
Me and my guests from the US learned so much in this trip, and I would recommend any person coming to Jersualem to go with Itamar

Itamar was awesome! My family who has all Christian, Jewish and Muslim relatives enjoyed his educational tour. He is so knowledgeable and at the same time so entertaining! We sang Hebrew songs and played games on the road too. It was with every penny! My mom was on a wheelchair and Itamar was so considerate and helpful too. We couldn't have asked for more!!!
