Spent a rainy morning in this vast marketplace. Some were hawking their wares and others were just displaying their stuff on stands and often narrow paths. Looked for some takeout food and couldn’t find though restaurants exist in certain areas. Loved the spice smells and...More

I went to the market for the first time early in the morning before Shabbat. I've never seen so much challah, rugelach and poppy seed cakes in one place. That was just the beginning of a food tour for the eyes. It was all I...More

Vibrant market! So much to see and eat but so little time. I was able to pay with US dollars. There are money changers in the vicinity if you prefer shekels.

The market has it all :) dried fruits, different kinds of cheeses, wines and a lot of spices. And the best part is that you can eat at one of the inside restaurants where the food is really and fresh.

Went here on a Friday and boy was it humming. You could barely walk through it. That said, we loved the energy. Not just a market, but full of cool restaurants and funky pubs. Best place in Jerusalem.

We had a wonderful experience in this market! So colourful and noisy in eastern style! Reminded us the Grand Bazar in Istanbul a lot.

One of the best markets in Israel. Fantastic on the senses. Loads of hip bars and several places to eat. The food stalls were amazing, fantastic variety, colours and quality. A must place to visit, even if just window shopping.
