In the heat of the day, this is a nice cool place to visit. This site is presented as a possible place of Christ's burial. It is quiet and peaceful here in contrast to the site inside the walls. The staff are very kind and caring. There is no charge to visit. However donations are accepted but not solicited, After... More

This is a special place even though from a historical perspective it is highly unlikely this is the actual tomb of Jesus. The grounds have a well-marked path that winds around and provides a nice peaceful walk. The Garden Tomb gives us an idea of what ancient gardens would have been like in Jesus' day.

A fascinating supposition and likely reality of the place Christ was entombed. Serene, fitting, historically accurate, Holy and inspiring historical view of a possible location for His burial. We took communion ax a group and shared our faith and devotion to our faith.

The garden tomb is located near Damascus Gate, approx 3 mins walk away. There is a lovely peace and quietness there. The entrance is free and you will pass many groups of tourists listening to their guides knowledge on this location. It is not known for sure whether this is the original location of the tomb where Christ was buried.... More

While the real place where Yeshua was buried remains contested, the garden tomb offers a very close semblance to that described in the bible. The semblance of the skull, the open tomb... The garden offers a warm place to meditate about the significance of the place--- that the Lord Yeshua was buried and ressurected!!!

We visited the Garden Tomb as part of a tour of Israel. We spent several hours Sabbath morning walking the grounds and listening to our knowledgeable guide give us history. We had a worship service and communion in the garden and toured the "tomb". I found the experience to be very moving. The grounds were beautiful. A nice place to... More

Advice: join a service on Sundaymorning or at Easter: it is a very special experience. It is a christian place among the Arabic markets. Jerusalem is amazing because of the mixture of 3 religions

After 10 days on pilgrimage visiting so many sights this for me was the most solemn, significant site to celebrate a closing service of thanksgiving. For me also it is the site I believe to be most accurate to scripture as it sits outside the old city walls. It also displays a cave like entrance in the shape of a... More

This is a must if you are to visit Jerusalem it may be where less people go to as most think the Church of the Holy Sepulcher is the real tomb of Jesus. But you must remember it is not important where the real tomb is as long as you believe in Jesus and he is the son of God.... More

If your on foot then this place can be a little hard to find, it's by a bus station in the Muslim part of town, opposite the Damascus Gate of the Old City but in the new part of Jerusalem. It has a slightly controversial reputation, but it sort of accepts it's not quite the special place it could have... More
