You'll never feel this way again as this a holy place and all what has in it. A tip, read the Bible before walk around this garden as you have an idea how many things happened here

Garden was pretty. Church was quite dark. Very old olive trees! Not much explanation as to what you are looking at.

One of the most moving moments of our tour. Ancient olive trees; place steeped in and deeply rooted in history and spirituality. Amazing opportunity to reflect on events 2000 years ago and more. Early morning and later in day avoids some crowds. Winter was less crowded but chilly and damp. Allow time for reflection and remember there is walking involved.... More

The ancient olive trees and beautiful flowers offer a feeling of peace, and provide a perfect place to meditate and pray. The church is also a peaceful place to pray, as it is intentionally dim and quiet. The view of the city from the garden is amazing, and gives a sense of perspective from a historic point of view. You... More

The garden is beautiful, very old olive trees, so your probably asking what's the big deal?? well the church of all nations that sits on the same parcel is beautiful.. and in the garden you have this most amazing perspective of looking across the road at the old city and just kind of taking it all in and it's just... Beautiful gardens with ancient olive trees. My third visit and it still keeps its simple charm. The Church of All Nations is worth a visit too. Do not miss Gethsemani and the Tomb of Mary close by.

Our group spent at least two hours in the Garden, having a worship service and then time for private prayer. This was a highlight of our trip to Jerusalem. To pray in the Garden that Jesus prayed in, what an experience. The Garden is large enough that you don't feel crowded, it's surrounded by a stone wall that keeps the... More

Of course this is a must-see destination for Christian pilgrims. But it takes quite some concentration to focus on Jesus's last night after you have run the gantlet of street vendors outside the garden and while you are trying to tune out the honking car horns and the general din of heavy vehicular traffic close at hand.

The Garden itself is well maintained and lovely to view. However, it is entirely fenced off so all viewing is from behind the fencing, which is less than ideal.
