Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Must see - tombs of leaders such as Hertzl, Golda Meier, martyrs such as Hannah Sennesh - people who helped create Israel. Deeply moving. Located directly above Yad Vashem. Very powerful symbolism and very moving place

This cemetery is beautiful, and includes memorials to Theodore Herzl, as well as dignitaries like Simon Peres, Golda Meir, and Yitzhak Rabin. It is a quiet, beautiful, and reflective place. The cemetery is a short walk on the "connecting path" from Yad Vashem and would be a great addition to any visit to this must-be-visited holocaust memorial.

In this Park/National Cemetery is located Hetzl monument and ALL israeli soldiers that have given their lifes in all wars.
I think it's important to see it and understand the sacrifice of the Jewish people for their own country.

Omn my very first day in Jerusalem I took the local light rail from Allenby to Mount Herzel..you get of there and then its just a 5 to 10 minute walk to Yad Vashem Holocoust Museum..when you come out of the museum this walk is a good time to reflect on The Holocoust...A Wonderful memorial to The Jews who lost there lifes....I went back here again before I left to buy some special souveniers from the great shop in the Museum...Yad Vashem touched me deeply and brought tears to my eyes...God Bless Israel

The relatively new Herzl Museum at the not-new Mt. Herzl cemetery is not to be missed. It's a great introduction to Zionism and the State of Israel's history for those unfamiliar. Even those who have a lifetime of reading behind them on the topic will enjoy the presentation, as it is artistic and high tech and very well done. WARNING: You need an advance reservation. Be sure to specify if you need a tour in English. The new light-rail from the center of Jerusalem takes you right to this site, so it should really not be missed by tourists traveling on their own in Israel.

After viewing the grave site of Theodore Hertl, we walked through the cemetery, and viewed the graves of prime ministers and dignitaries. Seeing the age of the soldiers that died, many so very young, was heartbreaking. Freedom is not free and this site proves that fact.
