Temple Mount was both very interested and irritating at the same time. There were very few people there but IDF was very much in force there. Also, we were warned very severely to stop laughing and do not show any signs of affection at all by the military people. It was not what I expected but most of Israel was... More

This is what Jerusalem is to Muslims. Don't go to Jerusalem and not visit the Al Aqsa Mosque which is the 3rd Holiest Mosque for Muslims so it means a lot. The Mosque itself is beautiful and people are so kind here. I highly recommend it. Don't forget to dress up modestly :)

I love this mosque, what keeps amazing me is the olive trees in the yards, ancient trees. The dome of the rock mosque is very spiritual.

This place, when I first stepped into the Noble Sanctuary, the sight of the gold glimmering from the Dome of the Rock, took my breath away. And then seeing Al Aqsa was surreal. Every time I travel to Palestine it is to visit Al Aqsa, so i can relive the moment I first set eyes on it, and truly its... More

At least once in your life you must visit the Al-Aqsa compound. Nothing compares to the sheer beauty of the al-Aqsa Mosque and Dome of the Rock. It's a religious site full of living history.

i guess visiting this place is prohibited for non-muslims. however you can easily fake it.. just memorize Surat Al Fatiha and the 5 prayers timings because this is common questions that the security will ask you to test if you are a muslim. However, the architect fans will find this place as a masterpiece ! the golden dome is simply... More

It's one of the holiest mosques for the Muslims. It's located on temple mount. The facade is beautiful in a very austere kind of way. It's not very ornate in its decoration outside. The guards don't like it if you get a little close to the facade. This place is off-limits to non-muslims. Don't carry any religious material and wear... More
