This museum was filled with historical pieces found throughout Jordan. The pieces on display were from the Nabatean, Greek, Roman, and Byzantine periods of conquest. All historical in value.

This is a neglected museum with interesting articles. All items must be put into modern and clean displayes with more detailed explanations.

The archelogy museum is located in the heart of the citadel. It has several interesting pieces and artifacts but the building itself is poorly kept and the exposition feels old, dirty and old-fashioned.
