Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Can’t have any better experience
Staff especially at reception Mr. Zuwaidi Muhammad and at 29th floor breakfast Mr. Ryais from Srilanka were amazing.
Always recommend.

Was recommended to go by a fellow traveler so took a trip to the museum its spread over 4 floors at a cost of 150 riyals about £30 wasn’t expecting much but boy was i wrong very informative lots of information on the universe but at the end the viewing gallery WOW 360 degree view of Makkah at the highest point and a Birdseye view of the Kaba definitely worth it.

Very well organized. Information is very detailed. I had always wanted my kids to explore Astronomy and they were totally amazed by the displays and vast information on the universe and time exhibits. But off course, the highlight was the most stunning view of the Holy Kaabah and surrounding areas. Well done!

The intial £30 cost for a museum ticket almost seemed extortionate at first, but alas it was something different to do while here in Mekkah so we thought we would give it a go. The museum is designed very well, they clearly have spent there time on it, the museum is quite interactive, we were given handheld guides when you pass certain exhibits. While quite awesome at first they kept replaying and glitching meaning we just gave up on them and carried on reading ourselves.

During the first two floors we kept being bothered by the staff who tried moving us downstairs, maybe on about ten occassions, they were also talking very loudly between themselves distracting us from the museum itself. After a while we took the hint and went to the top floor where you can see the whole of Mekkah, and it is a sight to behold, the Kabbah itself looks tiny in comparison to the overshadowing clocktower, whether that's a good thing however, is really up to you to decide.

I would recommend this off you're in Makkah. You start by paying 150SAR each person for entry and you go through universe museum which is over 3 floors. After that you make your way to viewing point. I offered Mughrib prayer there and it's hard to describe the feeling when you pray with Kaaba.

This was a nice surprise. The Museum starts of with how the universe is created and thn moves on to how time is created. We arrived between asar and maghrib. The end view is magical. We witnessed the sunset and prayed maghrib. Highly recommend.
