Just do it. Find the time and go. Lots to see; lots to learn. I highly recommend it. It's kind of a deep-dive into Saudi history from its geological formation, early history, the rise of Islam, the first and second Saudi kingdoms, through to the 20th Century and the discovery of oil. It's a good introduction and will broaden and... More

A lovely museum that tells the story of Saudi Arabia from the very dawn of humanity until today. My favorite part was the Jahiliyya section which focused on Pre-Islamic Poetry. So beautiful!

The museum is nicely laid out and the exhibits are presented expertly. The scope of the museum is not overwhelming, and it's a valuable way to spend half a day (if that).

Was pleasantly surprised with this museum. It charts the history of Arabia through the ages, with some great displays. We spent just over an hour here and didn't do it justice as we had to rush round. You could easily spend 2-3 hours looking round. We visited on a Wed afternoon and it was very quiet. Also, at 10 SAR... More

I was at the Museum with my Parents and it took us approximately 3 hrs to just see the museum. But its worth it specially if you are interested in the history of Saudi Arabia and how this country has evolved over so many years. There is a garden and waterfall just outside of the museum where lot of families... More
