Second visit Beit Al Qur'an attracted me there i went there again but this time alone the place is real good and no photo allowed inside i bought also some calendars

There is a good collection of manuscripts. Worth an hour or more visit depending on other activities planned

Not a very large museum. Can be done in two hours. Worth a visit even for non Muslims as it has a lot of beautiful calligraphy work.

Beautifully showcased historic Quran's and art artifacts. This represents a very valuable collection worth seeing. Located in Manama so easy to get to. Entrance is free but a donation is welcome.

This museum can be hard to find, but it is an absolute must for visitors in the region. The exhibits are stunning, and one could probably spend hours here.

A small reconstructed are of the original gate into the city and a portion of the old market nestled in the mayhem of the modern souq. You'll find anything and everything in the souq.

Really liked this place, Qurans from all over the world, different translations and from different eras. clean nice place over to 2 stories, there is no charge to get in but you can donate what you want. the Qurans are amazing some dating back to...More

Fantastic collection of Qu'rans from the 8th Century to today. Much of the craftsmanship is marvelous to behold. The entrance fee is free will offering so give what you like. Well worth an hour's visit.

Even if you are not religiously inclined, this is nevertheless a fascinating museum of one mans collection of Holy Qurans and Calagraphic writing instruments. The Quranic verse inscribed on a single grain of rice is quite remarkable as too are some of the beautifully crafted...More
