I went during peak season and had to queue FOUR times. Once to get into the building. Once to to get into the waiting area for getting into the coffee shop/ticket area and to get the entry ticket. Once to get past security screening. And then finally to be allowed into the vault. Once inside, there were very little explanations/descriptions,... More

This museum is unreliable and with poor information. Do not trust their webpage or opening hours, ask you hotel to call ahead to see if it's open.

I got shocked by its beauty, subtleness, elegance of the contents of this place. In my view it is really treasury of art. I strongly suggest this place for everyone especially tourists to Iran.

Simply spectacular collection, and I don't even like jewels normally. Poor signage though, so I'd recommend to buy the English guide booklet at the bookshop (only costs 1 EUR or so) before you enter to have more from your visit.

You need to make few efforts to book this visit. But once you are there, you would forget all this small trouble. What you will see is incredible. The crown jewels of Iran (Persia). Fantastic collection! No words to describe. Tours are extremely well organized. Hope to visit this again

Keep in mind that they have tricky opening hours, only 14.00-16.30 and not everyday. It will take you about an hour to have a tour with a guide (you don't have to pay for a guide, at least we didnt) I suggest better to be there, if you can, with a first batch of tourists, which starts at 14.00

We left the Jewelry museum for our last visit in our Iran trip. Well worth the long line. You will see treasures from many dynasties and all the way to Reza Sha's last commissioned pieces.

This small museum is surely the best museum in Tehran, located inside the safe room of Iran's central bank. Given its open time is only 2-4.30pm from Sat-Tue only, there will always be a long queue which could take you ip to one hour to wait. Tip: go early around 1.30pm and take a queue then you will spend much... More

This museum is one of the most fantastic places I ever seen in my life. The brilliant jewelries and pearls are unique in the world which surprise each visitor. The problem is the limited time for visiting in the week and the visitors should know the exact time and date to do not miss this masterpieces of PERSIA.

We were blown away by the volume of precious and semi precious stones and gold here - our eyes were like saucers throughout. There was quite a long queue to get in and you cannot take in bags or cameras.
