I went to visit the Grand Mosque with a group of friends after hearing a visiting lecturer rave about. Great experience. Highly recommended for both locals and visitors of Kuwait.

Elegant architectural design in the hue of Islamic culture and intellectual speeches by the Imams, made me always try to attend the Friday Prayer in there

The Grand Mosque is the biggest and the official mosque of Kuwait located in the heart of the city. The locals call it as "Al-Masjid Al-Kabir". This has become one of Kuwait's treasured landmarks. This is not open all the time but usually during prayer times.
