Interesting the contrast with the Hamra district. Only very expensive and occidental shops, Take a Pic in the "I Love Beirut" giant letters.

So this is the center of the city, lot of designers stores cool places to chill and relax, not for everyone to visit specifically for the on budget users

Only 3-4 shops are still open in the area! All around you can see patrols with guns and cement locks... Very very solitude

Once upon a time this was a lively area with amazing shops and lots of activities. Now, sadly it feels almost deserted. Nothing much to do... but if you've never seen this part of town, its worth a stroll around!

i don't think you can miss this, very beautiful neighborhood, full of stories and interesting buildings, try to get a tour with locals or get in chat with them but take care from taking photos of military guys

Lots of designer shops and restaurants. A very nice area with beautiful buildings. Modern area of downtown. Felt like being in Paris.

Just at this spectacular place, you feel the real meaning of Beirut, "The Paris of The Middle East". It is truly a hallmark for entire Lebanon. Just walking around will give you the strong believe of how strong and smart the Lebanese people are.
