Not a place for tourist, but excellent for people who plan to stay in Beirut for a bit longer. No souvenirs, no antiques, just a place for local people to buy cheap, common things. Clothes, tools etc.

you cannot walk there because it is so dirty and messy and crowded. I tried to see what they sell but could not enter mor than few meters.

This is not a common shopping destination nor a touristic one. Souk Al Ahad (meaning the sunday's market) is an old cheap market that sells old stuff to people. No Lebanese people go there and it should be omitted from TripAdvisor's list of shopping destinations....More
