Not a place for tourist, but excellent for people who plan to stay in Beirut for a bit longer. No souvenirs, no antiques, just a place for local people to buy cheap, common things. Clothes, tools etc.

There are lots of very cheap clothes, shoes, electronics and DIY stuff, along with random tat, boot sale type stuff, some spice stalls, and random stalls. There are some modern low-quality antiques. In summer it's hot and it's not that clean. You won't find many tourists there and the market clearly serves the large refugee community and poorer people. I... More

as a professional shopper, I didn't find it very interesting like Dubai etc. but was loveable :) I can say the restaurants beside the street were more interesting for me . the goods inside shops were not as intresting as they should be ! an ideal area to take a walk not to have a full power shopping ! :))

This is not a common shopping destination nor a touristic one. Souk Al Ahad (meaning the sunday's market) is an old cheap market that sells old stuff to people. No Lebanese people go there and it should be omitted from TripAdvisor's list of shopping destinations. This is ridiculous and unacceptable.

Doesn't have it's place in TripAdvisor lists. It's Not a shopping mall or Bazaar or touristic place to visit. They sell very old and used stuff. Very dirty place to avoid. When you visit a new country, sometimes you visit strange places to discover the people and the country. This place has nothing to do with Lebanese traditions. Lebanese people... More

This is not a shopping place... This a place for everything used and imitated. This should not be listed in the first place! Sorry...

One of the worst experiences so far. Very crowdy, smelly and hot because if the ceiling!! Dirt is everywhere, it needs to be cleaned badly.
