We recommend going late afternoon to early evening when it is in full swing. The Souq halls are really cool stepping in from the heat of the day & fun shopping

Excellent place to feel traditional qatari heritage and hospitality. Located in heart of Doha and well connected with all transport, ample parking and adjacent to corniche. Excellent location and can spend afternoon and evening in souq. Traditional middle eastern food, turkish coffee, indian food etc....More

Interesting place for those that want to experience a street food type of dine. Loads of textiles, toys, foods, spices and some souvenir. Although the night was horribly hot, we enjoy the time out and the nice people that host all over the market

It’s a historic district, you can feel that how was Doha long time ago, it’s very impressive that they keep this place very clean and decent. There are many souvenir shop and nice restaurants.

I'm a regular visitor to the souq and love it every time I'm there. It's great if you have time to wander around all the alleyways and get a bit lost. Don't be afraid to bargain, and purchase from stores labelled as Qatari-made or owned.

Most of the shops were closed in the morning and from 12-16. When it got dark the souq came to life. All the shops and restaurants were open. You can find souvenirs, art, lots of spices, shies, toys, clothes and even get your own hunting...More

It's just good to sea the place and take some pictures. It's really hot during the day and also even at night. Qatar doesn't have anything to sell so most if the goods are from Iran and Turkey and China and others. There are lots...More

The whole family loved exploring the nooks and crannies of this old world market in Doha. Some great eateries there too, we had a fantastic Iraqi lunch with amazing bread and delicious Lebanese mezze for dinner. All stunning quality.

Not at all for what I bought (a caftan). Haggle if prices aren’t marked. I didn’t find it expensive by US standards.

Camels are in a pen near boutique hotels and the road on outskirts of Souq. Parisa is a restaurant worth going to see just for its decor. Very sparkly and has a fountain inside. Most restaurants are fairly reasonably... More
