Viewed from afar the building's tower i seems a mix of minaret and lighthouse. Inside it hosts language courses as well as other courses on Islam and local culture, in a modern attempt to explain aspects of the local culture and religion to expats and visitors. Located next to the rebuilt Souk, it harmonises its modernity with the local 'old... More

They were so welcoming and open to a wide variety of questions; I felt respected by the sincerity of our hosts and the honesty of their answers. Some in my group felt they were proslatizing too much, but that's the purpose of their center, so I didn't mind and actually felt like it was a refreshingly candid exchange.
