All sport facilities together in one area. Swimming pools was visited by us. Fantastic pools with enough seating for all spectators. Security also up to standard.

All sport facilities together in one area. Swimming pools was visited by us. Fantastic pools with enough seating for all spectators. Security also up to standard.

This stadium was build in 1976 and fully renovated and expanded in 2005 for 2006 Asian Games. roof has also been built on the western side of the stadium, along with a large arch on the eastern side which was used as a platform for the launch of fireworks during the 2006 Asian Games opening ceremony.It is currently the stadium... Undergoing refurbishment ready for 2022 World Cup. Will be brilliant when done but there is currently no access.

Nice place to spend evenings. Better to visit during winter and eves are fun, esp for the kids. Love to go there

The sports City and Aspire zone area is certainly worth a look but the stadium at 2016 is work site as it under reconstruction for 2022. Come back and look in 2018

I have been to this stadium and it have every thing which an international stadium needs can accommodate a massive crowd ...outskirts of the stadium is well decorated and the access to the venue is so easy weather it is a day or night event you will relay enjoy it.

Many football matches have been hosted here and the landmark tower adjacent to the stadium is visible from far and wide.

We were lucky enough to be in Doha during the IPC Games and visited one evening. I was amazed at the cheap cost of the tickets and the fact that it was so empty. Despite this, there was a great atmosphere there with everyone encouraging everyone! We had seats on the finish line and in view of the medal ceremonies... More
