90 mins at Qasr Al Watan
Spent a great 90 mins at Qasr Al Watan with the family. Tickets were very reasonably priced, the experience was also well organised. After you enter the visitor centre you either purchase your tickets or for those who are more organised and have bought them online you can go straight to the security screening. Beware no food or drink allowed (other than water). You are then taken to a coach and you have a short 2-3 minute ride through the complex to the main palace. The coach ride has an audio guide that tells you a little about the history of the place. This palace is very recently built, if I heard correctly it was completed in 2017. When you get off the bus and make your way to the main palace, you are greeted by an amazing, decadent, opulent and generally stunning building. Whilst there is not an huge amount to do other than admire the architecture and design, the content and exhibits on display are just enough to keep you interested and not overwhelmed. Genuinely a place worth visiting whilst in Abu Dhabi.

Beautiful Palace - take a peek inside
In a city with many beautiful sites to see, I would place this in the category of “do not miss”. The tour of this presidential palace (he does not live here) was well run and efficient. After purchasing your ticket, air conditioned buses take you to the main building where you can explore. The palace is impressive with its huge doors, high ceilings, and excellent attention to detail. A favorite room is where all of the gifts from foreign leaders are on display. Seeing the massive doors when you walk in gives you an idea of the grandeur.

It’s just incredibly beautiful. Working office of the presidential office of AD, lovely visit to discover a bit more of the behind the scenes. Only 60 AED/ person Ask for the headphones audio absolutely worth it, 20 AED, but not really advertised. Get it after the bus drops you. Spend about 2 hrs, it’s breathtaking!

    Absolutely breathtaking
The Qasr Al Watan Presidential Palace is an amazing place. It is a must do if visiting Abu Dhabi on a day trip. The security though is very high and much more than at an airport. So be preapred There are no dress code restrictions and no need for ladies to cover their heads

    Beautiful palace
Very beautiful modern government palace. It is mainly a touristic attraction, however it is used by the government for some official meetings. A lot of marble, gold etc. you have to buy tickets to visit the Qasr and after the bus will drive you till the palace. Also no open shoulders etc are allowed, but they have scarves to cover yourself if needed. In general must visit in Abu Dhabi.

    Spectacular
It was absolutely breathtaking. A must do visit. I had read about the light show on social media and knowing an evening outing with lights would be a good idea, we didn’t realise how beautiful, and how spectacular it would be. Professional, staff are amazing and so well run. We loved it!

It's beautiful - architecture, chandeliers, peaceful and well signed. The light and sound show is worth going to. Mohammed and Ola, thank you very much for ensuring we found a taxi during a rainy and stormy evening, even offering us the use of your staff shuttle if no taxis were found.

One of the best places to see in the entire UAE
This attraction turned out to be one of my favorites in the entire UAE. Staying in Dubai, I booked it the night before with no expectations just to fill the time in a day trip to Abu Dhabi before my evening tour of the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. From initially being just a time filler, this tour of Qasr Al Watan turned out to be one of the highlights of my entire trip to the UAE. This palace is jaw-dropping. It's probably the nicest interior of a building I've ever seen in my life. The place is so photogenic that basically anything you point your camera at will turn into a good picture, but at the same time, no camera can do this place justice. It has to be seen in person. I found the Qasr Al Watan tickets to be a great value too. On my trip to the UAE, I've had a few instances where after a certain tour or attraction I felt that it wasn't worth the price and I hate feeling like that after an attraction. Qasr Al Watan was the complete opposite. The tickets were relatively inexpensive to begin with and after touring a building this nice I felt that it was definitely worth the price. I would easily do it again and highly recommend.

Absolutely stunning must see! We visited later in the day as we wanted to see Palace of motion. This building is a must see it’s absolutely stunning inside and out. Good facilities, plenty of toilets cafeteria shops. I recommend visiting after 4.30pm last visiting is 5:15 pm. This will ensure that you get to see Palace in motion, but please check the website for timing schedules and opening hours.

To think that this building's only purpose is to host / entertain foreign visitors (aka for "show-off" purpose) is hard to fatom.

Nevertheless, the sheer size of the site is impressive... emphasized by the fact you need a bus to take you from the ticketing service to the Qasr itself.

The site is impressive in size, but also with the architecture. All the white tones make it pure, especially perched on this hill.
During our visit, there weren't many visitors, so we got to enjoy the site almost all to ourselves, which for sure, added to the grandiose aspect of it.

We have purchased a guided tour of 30 mins with one of the guides there. It was a private one, as no one else had registered. It was quite interesting to understand more about the place, and to get "inside stories" from our guide.

Inside, the way the place is designed doesn't hide its hugeness, but at the same time, it makes it "easier to grasp", through different effect techniques applied on the walls and ceilings.

A very magnificent building that is for sure best enjoyed in small groups. Try to avoid the peak hours / seasons.

Expect to spend about 1.5 to 2 hours on the site.

The Qasr was built as a Presidential Palace and to showcase Emirati culture, history and architecture. It is opulent, massive and overwhelming in size and scale. Again, a guided tour is recommended (and included in the ticket on request) to get a more insightful idea about the palace.

We bought our tickets from the palace website and took a taxi there. The outside is mesmerising white and gold. You enter by a reception where your tickets are checked, security bag scanning them you board a bus to the palace. There is no time limit to your visit. This is a beautiful palace the inside has lovely carpets in some areas but is predominately marble in blue cream and sand colour. You will see the most magnificent chandeliers I haven’t been in any palace that is so
Large and stunning

In full honesty I never heard of Qasr Al Watan before a friend of mine told me it's a must see when she heard I will do a two day stopover in Abu Dhabi.

I am truly blown away. When we go somewhere we tend to visit plenty of magnificent palaces that were built centuries ago. This is a modern version of a legacy palace - a true art of work that will be taking a breath away of hundreds and hundreds generations to come.

It is impressive and you have to see it yourself. It is also right next to Emirates palace (which was not as nearly impressive as Qasr Al Watan) so you can easily plan to see both.

This place is truly amazing and worth stopping over in Abu Dhabi for a visit to it alone! We didn't book beforehand but joined a short queue about 5:30 and got in fairly quickly. We were then bussed up to the palace itself and it is so large that at no time did we feel part of a crowd. Words cannot describe the magnificence of the building, both inside and out. And photos can't do it justice either. There is almost too much to take in. We watched the wonderful light show before we left. Hopefully we'll get back again!

This is a dazzling collection of modern white palace buildings with manicured grounds and splashing fountains outside. Taxis rather than free shuttles but all easy to obtain.

The interior is a series of large and smaller domed spaces and a little less than the old palaces they reproduce. However, there is a wonderful collection called presidents' gifts that are stunning and time consuming to fully take in . And there are other such collections that tell the history of Abu Dhabi and its rulers.

Entry is well priced and concessions for over 60s are offered. Well worth the 2-3 hours and the tea rooms near the entrance very grand.

There is no possible way not be impressed with the size and look of this building! At the ticket office, there is a shuttle taking you to the this magnificent building in just a few minutes. You can't bring in food with you, so make sure you eat beforehand. The interior is truly breathtaking and there are couple of exhibitions inside which are quite interesting, such as Presidential gifts and the history of rulers.

There is no other marvelous and beautiful man-made structure I've ever seen. The architecture, grandeur is out of this world. Buy the ticket and go inside to experience the opulence. There is the main grand entrance, a few exhibits, conference halls, dining hall and also a library accessible to public. No food items are allowed inside, so leave them in your car if you have anything on you. You must give about an hour to 1.5 hrs for this. Must see in Abu Dhabi.

Very tremendous palace that is founded to serve the residence of the local authorities. Basically the main assemblies in UAE conducting in this building.
From our hotel where we stayed “Grand Hyatt” it’s walking distance. After reaching the gate of the palace you will be driven by shuttle bus to the main the entrance of palace. After entrance you will start to feel pomposity of wealth.
We visited the palace within almost the end of opened hours, accurately saying on 15-30. The palace operates till 16-00. So when we arrived it seemed us that it’s not crowded. You will have enough time walk around and see main beauties of palace. Atmosphere very easy and calm. Don’t hurry to walk out because of otherwise you will miss some rooms that signified to the certain occasion. There are rooms for conference, assembly, library and etc.
The price for ticket will cost about around 60/70 dirhams it’s approximately 17/20 USD per person. Tell the true it’s deserve it’s price. You will see many interesting spots . After excursions you will be time to take the picture of yourself in the background of Etihad towers
