Arabic decor with great dining options and good, if somewhat expensive, shopping opportunities. The back has great views to the Grand Mosque. The art shop downstairs and Moroccan restaurant upstairs are must visits if you are there.

Not worth visiting as a day out. Ok if your staying at the La Shangri and get a free abra ride down. Worth it for the Abra ride. A few very expensive shops and restaurants.

The Souk was a disappointment to say the least. Not many shops and very confusing to get around. Plus more modern than original for my liking. There are a number of restaurants which I have been told are quite good, however we did not try...More
