Really enjoyed visiting AD this year when it was a suitable temperature for a wander along the Corniche. Great place to walk. Didn't manage it to the beach. Only thing is that the pavements are needing repaired & can present a hazard in places.

Words really can't explain how beautiful this city really is. There's a beach for everyone on the corniche. There's a family oriented beach, singles beach, pay for a chair and table part of the beach and a free beach. Whatever your fancy the beach has it. Seeing the old sail boats sitting there in the ocean is really amazing. Seeing... More

Its a wonderful place to spend some quiet time, especially during the evening or in the winter. It has a great long pathway ideal for joggers or for a daily walk. It's very clean and the water looks so inviting. You can catch a view of several landmarks too from a distance.

In the winter months when being outside is bearable, this place is not bad to visit. You can sit outside at a cafe or on the beach and just relax. Worth stopping at to kill time or get out of a mall.

Well I live on the Corniche so you will have to accept that my review will be biased. But even if I did not live here I would recommend this spot to locals and visitors alike. The local government has done a great job with this section of the city. It is both safe and generally very clean. Great for... More

We visited the beach at the evening when the sun was setting down and it was so calming, peaceful and relaxing. We walked along the beach and enjoyed the view, then we sat in one of the few cafes and ordered some cold drink. It was a good relaxing time after a day full of activity.

Corniche is good location. It is kind of central for Grand Mosque, Abu Dhabi Mall, Marina Mall, Palace. Less touristy too!

Corniche is a very popular beach walk, many people use it for fitness and is active in evening's when it is cooler. Wear comfortable shoes.

We stayed at Khalidia palace which is nearby at the end of the Corniche and walked the Corniche shoreline walk a few times. There are pavilions with casual food and drinks as well as high end restaurants such as Catch or Asia de Cuba which are part of the st-regis complex. For a more casual experience go next door to...
