A wonderful place to place to walk for a few minutes or a few hours. There are many paths to choose from. Excellent views of the ocean in both directions from this hill on a peninsula. The plant life and variety of trees is extraordinary.

It was relaxing and quiet place to go walking in the nature. Beautiful trees and amazing lookout spots. We did not see many animals, just some birds. I would recommend to but good hiking shoes on.

Definitely not the fancy arboretum of North American standards, but a wonderful example of one man's vision. Quiet, comfortably walkable, and even marked with QR codes on the various plant and tree specimens. Plus, there is no admission charge!

The arboretum makes a very pleasant and interesting walk. The are some beautiful views. We have seen more exotic botanical gardens but this one is sufficiently well assorted and "in line" with the local landscape.

As long or short a visit as you want, a stroll around the Arboretum is a wonderful few-hours outing with children or simply if you are interested in botanics. You can let the kids run around, recognize some trees if you can, and enjoy the...More

Unless you have a particular fascination with tree varieties, you should treat this as a park for nice strolls. The museum itself is a bit ramshackle, but definitely charming. The collection of French tiles upstairs is nice too. The view from the upper lookout is...More
