We went twice!!! It is located in a neighboring suburb, the labor of love of a couple who love and understand the richness of the Bolivian textile tradition. The museum is small, but the contents are spectacular. If you are at all interested in learning...More

This is a very humble museum off the beaten path. However, it provides a nice orientation to textile arts in Bolivia. You will see how these arts differ from one area to another. If you have interest in textile arts, you'll find the effort worthwhile.

Ive been to countless archeological museums in South America, including several textile museums. What sets this one apart is the emphasis on preserving the iconography and culture of ancient weavers.
