Day trip to see La Paz, Bolivia. Just a small van load made a nice group. The tram ride is the best, but still need to see the city square, cathedral and Witches Market.

Laja was the original location of Bolivia's capital. It is a windswept location but its church is quite beautiful inside. It is not always open for viewing so you will have to ask.

The church offers a very traditional view of the post Colon era, the dancing pepinos and chu'tas, near carnival display the colored version of the highlands, bring food, but try the traditional laja bread.
