It used to be more heroic. But almost 10 or 15 years ago they changed to what you'll see. It has a nickname among young students: Monument to drunken people.

I spent about two months in La Paz and probably walked by it everyday. It's a nice memorial and conveniently located. It's easy accessible via public transportation and is a short walk from many hostels. It's worth a visit since you'll probably pass by it...More

You will go pass on your tour of the city.Just like any other countries remembers the war dead.You can just go pass and see.
