Any local or tourist should come up here when in Bogotá, at least once. The place offers a great view of the whole city and when the sun is coming down it can be quite the show. Make sure you bring a jacket, it rains sometimes and can get really windy, especially around 5 or 6 p.m. If you can,... More

For 19.000 cop you can get up and down with the cablecar. Great experience going up the hill and of course overwhelming view of the city from above.

The day we visited was overcast and foggy but the experience was still amazing. The fog provided for a great atmosphere and after a great lunch at the top, the clouds cleared and we were able to get a great view of the city. The cable ride up was an experience in itself. Definitely put this on your to do... More

Mt monserrate is a beautiful place to go with your family and friends. It's the perfect place to spend the afternoon. The church and the shops make the place special, and give you the opportunity to interact with the locals.

A lovely view on Bogota, neighboring mountain and church - if the weather is nice! Church itself is nothing special, but view of the city is nice. Charming shops, two great restaurants with incredible view. One of the 'must see' in Bogota.

Such a breathtaking view! We started walking around 10am just as it started to get sunny. It took us just over an hour, with taking lots of breaks (I got much more easily tired the higher we went). Definitely a fun hike! The path is nice and scenic, just lots of steps. The view is incredible! I recommend taking the... More

It is a popular tourist spot especially during the weekends. We went there at 15:05 and they did not let us walk up because they close the stairs at 15. It was easy to get up by funicular which goes very fast but becoming down by teleferico we needed to wait more than one hour to get down. But it... More

We ended up taking the cable car up and it was a treat. We also walked around seeing the path. The whole experience was enjoyable.

The views of Bogota from this place are breathtaking. You go up either hiking, on a lift or cable car. It is tough hiking as the mountain is very steep and the trails are only open on weekends. Is an inexpensive way to have a 360 view of Bogota and its surroundings. You can have a coffee and local pastries... More
