We spent 4 hours here, arriving just after high tide and that is the best time to come. We arrived early and the jetty side was breezy, so we snorkelled off the kite surfing side as there were no kite surfers and saw several turtles in water we could stand up in, so it would be ideal for children. We... More

Spent less than a few hours on the island which was enough. Jet ski was so much fun - hired for 45 mins between 2 of us and saw turtles. Snorkeling was amazing, so much to see. Special mention to the owner/manager of the hire place - he spoke at least 3 languages (English, French, Japanese and I'm sure there... More

Had a great time snorkelling and relaxing by the beach. We saw a snake but it was harmless. It's a beautiful little island. Rent your snorkels from Noumea. They are over priced at the island and take your own drinks and snacks too.

This Island is stunning, a pleasure to swim and great to rent stand up paddle boards ect. I prefer this island out of all the islands we saw.

if you are not a kiteboarder, you may not want to come here. But the turtles are so numerous that you almost cannot fail to see at least on. On the quite side of the island there is also plenty to do away from the kitesurfers

This is a lovely island just a short ride out of the bay. There is a resort, snack bar, picnic areas, small beach, snorkeling and a large shallow area for kite surfing - fun to watch even if you don't kite! Great place to spend the day!

In the lagoon, this island is quite lovely. There is a hotel on the island with decent food and drinks. You're not supposed to walk around the hotel's grounds and just stay near the jetty, but no one really minds. The beach is lovely. The best part is the boat ride there and back. Great views!

A lovely place to just relax. Weather was great and the water warm. Look for the great sunsets after a day of jet boating, kayaking, stand up paddleboarding, swimming in the sea of fantastic pool.

We paid for the glass bottomed boat trip out to the island, as suggested by other viewers. Unfortunately, we didn't actually get the glass boat and when we asked why, the owner lost all ability to speak English. The island itself is very lovely, although unless you are into water sports or have reservations at the horribly expensive resort restaurant,... More

Great both as a day outing or to stay in the hotel. If you do stay, make sure to get an over water villa facing the ocean. There are a few that don't quite face out, which is what we had booked. They don't allow children in those villas (not sure about the age limit). The villas are modern and... More
