Messy graffiti
Sep 2019 • Solo
Maybe it looked arty once, but now it’s just an old shell of a building covered with messy graffiti. The bushes around it have grown so high the views are difficult to photograph towards the ports. It’s a steep set of stairs up from the street near the cathedral.

Graffiti rules
Oct 2018 • Solo
Nice views from lookout but most areas had high shrubs so it was difficult to get pictures. The building itself was mostly covered with graffiti and was an interesting sight. Uphill and lots of steps if you walk up.

Carnival Cruise December 2017
Dec 2017 • Couples
A great place to view the city of Noumea, can see right down to the ship where it's docked. A short 15 to 20 mins walk through town, stop at the park in the middle of town.

A building covered in Art
Apr 2018 • Couples
We visited this lookout on a tour... and loved it. So much graffiti art all over one building. Apparently an ex Art Centre that got damaged in a storm, and unusable on the inside, so the outside has been approved for graffiti artists to use the walls. The views of the cruise ship teminals, and city streets were awesome. Could have spent longer here. A lot of history speaks here

A view you must see
Jan 2018 • Family
If you are in Noumea, then make sure you visit here to grab a great view of the Island from a high point. Our tour took us here for photos - well worth it and a must if you are passing by in a South Pacific Cruise trip..

Good view
Dec 2017 • Couples
We walked up to the lookout using the stairs north from the cathedral. This meant that we had it to ourselves between the tourist groups. A nice view of the town but not a place to sit and spend time.

Great View of Harbor
Oct 2017 • Couples
From the Cathedral of St Joseph we walked north on Douarre, which turned into Blvd Vauban. At Rue Jean Jaures there is a set of approximately 100 steps going up the hill to
FOL Lookout. TA. From here you have an excellent view of the harbor area.

Part of the choo choo train experience
Feb 2017 • Couples
We had a day stop here on our cruise and took the choo choo train around the city and to the look outs, a good facility. This was a very good view point of the city and bays and I think it is worth it.

Great view
Mar 2017 • Couples
This was one of the photo stops when we did the tchou tchou train tour. We were given plenty of time to enjoy the view which is just picturesque. We took lots of photos of the view and also colourful photos of the street paintings. Thankfully we had a beautiful day so we could enjoy what this area had to offer.
