Small but Great Aquarium

Well layed out with pretty good descriptions of the exhibits. Well worth the cost ($10) and short amount of time to make the visit.

The outdoors panoramic displays are beautiful and interesting, seeing life fish and turtles in their natural habitat. Parts of the viewing areas are shaded. The indoors aquariums are interesting also. I marveled at the camouflaged Stone Fish. But the life Nautilus captured my heart. I stared at the archaic creature for a LONG time. It is absolutely mind boggling. The... More

My wife and I had some time on our hands before our first day of diving, so we visited the aquarium which was just down the street from the dive shop we were utilizing. The staff was so FRIENDLY, and I was impressed at how well the exhibits were layed out. A great and not to expensive way to spend... More

I enjoyed my visit to the Palau Aquarium. The exhibits are nice, with good descriptions, but not spectacular. It did prepare me for the real thing when I went snorkeling a few days later. It is a 15 minute walk from the town center.

So many local fish and sea life. Very well done. Flowers and trees round it out. Open and Large Tanks that you can see fish under the water

Great 'fish museum' the displays are well thought out and very informative. You can see live jelly fish from jelly fish lake, a great collection of local wild life from a variety of ecosystems and even some nautilus. Very cool goby collection. Highly recommended.

Several nice fish displays. Nice outdoor pools. Too close to Koror dump! Cconstant foul air from the islands dump!

As someone who has dived and snorkelled in Palau I still found this aquarium a great place to visit. It is relatively small, but the displays and associated information are terrific. I managed to identify some of the fish I had seen while diving and learned more about reef and mangrove environments. The outdoor tanks are particularly good, with viewing... More

My 1st day of snorkeling got cancelled so I had some free time. This was a good introduction to get an idea of what kind of fish I was going to see when I was out snorkeling. However for $10 a visit it was overpriced.

The Palau International Coral Reef Center (PICRC) is looking great AND doing good work. After 15 years, that's a great accomplishment. Kudos go to Dr. Golbuu and the team for an important contribution not only to Palau, but to the global study of coral reefs. If you have a chance to talk with the scientists, please do!
