We spent an enjoyable afternoon here. We spoke at length with one of the keepers who was able to give us many tips on what to look for when scuba diving. He also took us along for several feedings and told us about the Japanese Emperor's visit to the aquarium.

Really enjoyed our visit here! Loved the indoor-outdoor exhibits and the displays on Palau's marine environments and the current scientific research going on. Also very excited to see the nautilus and the mandarinfish! Small aquarium, but well worth the $10 entry fee. Nice gift shop too.

Learned a lot about the reefs and the types of fish that I was seeing while snorkeling on other days. Small aquarium for 10$ entry fee - something to do in the town besides snorkel or dive.

I try to find the good part of every destination, but if you did anything in the water during your time in Palau, the aquarium is going to be very underwhelming for the entrance fee. You'll see a few fish and turtles, but nothing compared to what you just saw while diving, snorkeling, or doing anything else in the water.... More

One of the must to visit in Palau, very educational & entertaining. Family friendly best way to explore the ocean of Palau from above, starting from the mangrove to the deep ocean of the pacific. This is a very small aquarium by many standards, but it was interesting that many exhibits were outdoors. Since the Jellyfish Lake was closed to tourists during my visit, this turned out to be the only place I could see those jellyfish up close. There are some exhibits were you can touch the starfish and other inhabitants of the tank,... More

The outdoors panoramic displays are beautiful and interesting, seeing life fish and turtles in their natural habitat. Parts of the viewing areas are shaded. The indoors aquariums are interesting also. I marveled at the camouflaged Stone Fish. But the life Nautilus captured my heart. I stared at the archaic creature for a LONG time. It is absolutely mind boggling. The... More

Well layed out with pretty good descriptions of the exhibits. Well worth the cost ($10) and short amount of time to make the visit.

My wife and I had some time on our hands before our first day of diving, so we visited the aquarium which was just down the street from the dive shop we were utilizing. The staff was so FRIENDLY, and I was impressed at how well the exhibits were layed out. A great and not to expensive way to spend... More

I enjoyed my visit to the Palau Aquarium. The exhibits are nice, with good descriptions, but not spectacular. It did prepare me for the real thing when I went snorkeling a few days later. It is a 15 minute walk from the town center.
