Purple coral?!

Seeing purple coral and floating in rock tunnel in pristine blue waters was an amazing experience! I highly recommend this.

Antarctica, The Northern Lights, Atop the Burj Khalifa and a couple more places have always been on another level on my list amazing places. Cruising around the Southern Lagoon has just entered my elite list of spectacular places I have seen or experienced in my life. The thing I loved the most was how secluded and peaceful the country of... More

Went on a snorkeling trip, despite heavy rain, it was amazing. I had no snorkeling/diving experience but it did not matter. Did a bit of canoeing too, totally worth the money!

We came to Palau because of the Rock Islands snorkeling. We used the large and very professional Sam's Tours. Our guide was excellent, the pilots were personable and enjoyable. We used kayaks to get into the shallow lagoons where there were amazing coral and fish everywhere. We went out to sea at some points but spent the greatest amount of... More

Palau diving is largely excellent. Lush soft corals and tons of marine life in fact, abundant is the right word.

We arranged for a boat tour and the lagoon and caves in the rock islands are quite beautiful. We saw a pod of dolphins on the way. I didn't get a chance to tour it from the air, but I imagine that would be even more spectacular.

The crystal clear waters were great for snorkeling. Most of the tour operators visit the same places so there are a dozen boats full of tourists at each of the spots.

We have seen the Cocos Islands in Costa Rica, islands all over Raja Ampat in Indonesia and many breathtaking islands all over the world. The Rock Islands rival any islands we have ever seen.

If you're in Palau to dive, you'll often find yourself riding a boat through the gorgeous rock islands of the southern lagoon to get to your dive site. The boat ride is a treat in itself, because these rock islands are absolutely gorgeous. Be on the lookout for stone arches, caves, and interesting rock formations. It's also a great place... More

Kayaked through the rock islands with Fish n Fins company (provide lunch and water) and it was amazing. Everything was beautiful. Could see and hear many birds, fruit bats flying. Got to go snorkel at lost lake, also were able to kayak into a cave. Saw abandoned ship and wing from Japanese bomber plane. But the beauty...can't get that anywhere... More
