My friends and I got collected from our Villa by the kind and welcoming Stand Up Paddle boys, who then took us to Blue Lagoon and then Mele Village. The drive to blue lagoon was great to see more of what Vanuatu has to offer! When we arrived at the lagoon, wow, it was paradise! I have never seen water so blue ! The boys carried down the boards to the water and gave us a lesson on the appropriate paddle technique and then we were off! Although there was a fair bit of falling off and lots and lots of laughs! A platter of local fruit was also provided, yummo! On the way back to our villa we called into Mele Villiage, where we were greeted with open arms by 'mumma' and the local children. It was such a cultural eye opener! I would highly recommend the Village tour! We had such a fantastic day. Definitely, the highlight of our trip!!! We will be back !!
