Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

It is one of the famous pagodas in Yangon. In Kaba Aye Paya, it kept many ancient things concerning with Buddha. Car Parking is also available. You can go there by car, bus and taxi. In front of it, there is a small shopping mall.

This Pagoda has an entrance fee for Foreigner. 3000Kyat each. Over here, you get to learn about Buddha's life in picture. You can see a replica of a Buddha relic. A number of Bohi tree. The tree that Buddha's gained his enlightenment.
Would advise tourist to engage a guide to bring you around the tour so that you have a better insight of the place.

Not sure why it's not ranked higher as it a good pagoda to see - perhaps overshadowed by its neighbour.

Very interesting pagoda. Outwardly, it looks quite usual, but inside it does not have the usual structure.

We got there early before the crowds and before it got too hot. Plenty of things to see and for photos. Well worth a visit even though it's a short taxi ride away

I would recommend visiting this one before Schwedagon. Actually visit all pagodas before Schwedagon, as you will likely want to say: "that's it?" if you have seen Schwedagon Pagoda before.
Nonetheless this one is worth the trip. It has a central shrine vault, the decorations are quite nice and it is actually a peaceful non crowded monument. It is an easy taxi ride to the northern part of town, and can be combined with Tooth Relic Pagoda and Inya Lake visit.

Kabar Aye Pagoda is located at Kabar Aye Pagoda Road, Yangon. It is the most famous place in Yangon. I recommend taking pictures around pagoda and statute .There have GaMone Pwint Shopping Mall and Abidama Buddha University are near by.Beside of the ladder, there are many souvenirs shops which sell statues & flowers. A lot of car parking is inside and feel free to visit and take a rest while you are there.Shoe and sock is not prohibited for all visitors as usual .Not so far to Mya Khun Thar Park,Myanamr Plaza and Sedona Hotel.
