If you want souvenirs or if you are like me and you're constantly on the look out from fabrics to buy, this is the place to go. I was in heaven. The fabrics were really cheap.

Helped us understand more of, and get a real feel for, the recent history of Myanmar that led to the rule by the Military Junta and the recent 'thawing' and opening up of the country.

It is great to be able to visit a museum that has many of the furniture and effects as it was when General Aung San was alive and especially interesting to see the room Aung San Su Ky and her brothers lived.

We found this historical site a little disapponiting, nice to see original photos and stories on the walls We took a taxi there as the opening times are limited so check before going

Tucked away. No one else there when we went. $5 entry. Needs a good clean but interesting. Notices in English. Lots of information. Pleased we visited.

We had already learned a lot about Bogyoke Aung San and didn't feel the need to go into the museum which has a high (for Myanmar) entrance fee. Our guide felt our decision was a wise one.

Not worth the 5000 to get in to be honest. It is just the house unless you are very interesting in that. However, there are not that many panels with descriptions

The fascinating and story of the man whose vision led to the founding of independent Burma - but which he sadly never lived to see - in the beautiful house where he lived with his family.
