Beware of Sule Pagoda because it is not as safe as you may think it is. Security is not as robust as Shwedagon so you apparently have gangs of cheats hanging around inside. Usually one of them dresses as a monk while the other (younger...More

The pagoda is right in the middle of a roundabout. It's very crowded even if from outside is amazing!

Nice place itself but be careful about locals directly speaking to you and try to explain you the place saying it is for free. At the end a "monk" is coming who says you MUST spend some money telling you at least 10'000 Kyat. Sad...More

Beautiful pagoda complex set literally in the middle of the street, with all kinds of small shops ringing the lower level. Not as impressive as Shwedagon, it nevertheless stands on its own as a beautiful structure and is worth a visit if you have the...More

You definitely will pass by here when you are in Yangon. Just a normal pagoda for me so I didn’t go in. But alternatively you can pay USD few dollars to go in and visit or pray. Otherwise let’s move on to next attractions.
