Don't waste your time. It's hot sweaty and the corridors are very narrow. Unless you looking for cheap plastic crap it's not worth it. Save your kyats for something more interesting.

In the morning I found it very busy, it was vibrant and full of interest, but impossible to get a decent picturesque without getting in the way. I returned after lunch to get good images.

If you want to get up close and personal with the locals then this is the place to go. The fabrics and clothes on sale are overwhelming and you would have to spend a week inside this place to see it all. Would not want to be inside if there was a need to get out in a hurry but... More

This one market all shopaholics would enjoy. I enjoy the smiling faces of the Burmese people. They have a good range of goods at this market. Definitely worth having a look. I found out by word of mouth. Tip - take small notes easier to barter with

We always enjoy to visit the local market and this was not the only one we had visited. We actually did several. Here is where you truly meet the culture and the heart warming people of Burma. Smiling, friendly, helpful and happy. Don't be afraid to try some of the local street food, it is delicious. Markets are a must... More

Its an amazing experience how foreigner's do business in this large market with a language barrier. Clothes & materials are cheap, & what a choice, beautiful tops, but unfortunately the sizes are small. Must mention that the Vendors are very honest so far, hope it stays that way. Too congested, but worth a visit.
