The old train station still has beauty but I hope they will begin to restore it before it gets too crusty. I went to ride the circular train and it was very easy to get around the station.

For train buffs or just tourists who don’t need 100% western comforts take the 2.5 hour round trip and watch daily life out of the window.

We did not take a train but walked around the place. A nice looking colonial building and also the biggest railway station here. Very crowded. If you not planning to take a train, just stop out side for a look.

A big, somewhat clean and a busy station . Quite easy to find your way around and find the correct platform and tran. Hepful people around you to answer any questions. A local Toilet is just at the end of the platform.

We took the circle train from here to go around Yangon. Was a fun experience, but luckily we had a local friend with us, otherwise we would have been hopeless in getting tickets and finding the correct platform.
