Favourite in town!
Jun 2020
Very peaceful and always good update of discoverable artists of Myanmar. I like to stroll around the painting alone.

Disappointing
Dec 2019
This gallery has been reviewed in very positive terms, so I was looking forward to visiting and was at pains to seek it out. Most of the works I saw were overpriced and of very poor quality, with little artistic merit.

An eclectic collection of unusual gift ideas
Dec 2019
We came here twice. The first visit, my wife and daughter were 'scoping' out the wide-ranging stock of interesting souvenirs and gifts. The second visit was to purchase all the items they liked, or wanted to give as gifts. This is a shop full of lovely items, many of which support local causes. It is luckily next door to the Rangoon Tea House, so its easy to combine them in one trip - shopping and dining!

Nostalgic Burmese one step ahead

New Brasserie in Yangon that has got all the basics just right. That opens the door to experience some of the classics you would expect ; but these are one notch above many of the recent additions to Yangon. The welcome at the door set the scene & the rest was simply fresh, tasty and delivered by a team that was relaxed and able to actually engage with the customers. Pate was delicious and avocado salad both must have! Enjoy - its really relaxing as the the crew have been trained well.

Local artists and so friendly owner
Feb 2019 • Couples
Popped in here and it was definitely worth a visit. Very interesting to see the local artists work (even if we didn’t buy). The owner is very friendly explaining and showing the different artists works.

Located on 2nd floor right where the big street sign is. You enter through a shop and up the stairs in this old beautiful building that would need some more love and tender.

Friendly art space
Aug 2018 • Solo
Visited this place and i was abit hesitant about the location. Its on the second floor and i had to go into a shop to get through the stairs. They were friendly and gave me some cold water which was refreshing with the himidity of the town. They toured me their place and shared with me about where i could get art materials for water color painting. Great place to chill but i needed to head out. Tuesdays they come together and are open until late at night.

Great art and super-friendly owner
Aug 2018 • Friends
This was the original venture by the artist who owns Pansodan Gallery, and it's still good - great art collection (you need to spend time going through the racks and stacks, not just look at what is hanging on walls) and friendly, helpful Burmese owner. Also lots of info about events happening in Yangon. The sister restaurant - Pansuriya - (same owners) is also worth a visit - decorated with art and some great vintage photographs.

Local Artistic Talents
Apr 2018 • Solo
This is the place where you can meet some of the most talented local talents in arts. It is not a very big art gallery but definitely one worth spending time in. You will be in for a surprised.....you may end up buying some masterpieces from here. Go and have a look at it yourself.

Small but lovely gallery
Mar 2018 • Solo
I wanted to buy a painting by a local artist whilst I was in Myanmar & this gallery was worth seeking out - I ended up buying two paintings! Definitely worth a trip - only a few are hanging so you need to be up for browsing through the stacks of paintings!
