I could walk and shop both sides of this street for days. I am sure each time, I would see something I missed before. Great shops, beautiful hotels, photo opportunities, fabulous wine bars and nice restaurants. All this and the museums and government buildings. Oh,...More

The avenue may contain some quite impressive buildings, however it also contains a lot of traffic, with the resulting noise and pollution. You are far better in the parallel back streets of old buildings.

There are worse ways of spending your time in Tbilisi than taking a stroll along Rustaveli Avenue. The old parliament house, the national museum, the art gallery and plenty of other interesting sites to take in. Worth the effort.

The Christmas lights in Tbilisi are the best I have seen anywhere. This deeply Christian country doesn't resort to the sort of tacky abuse of the celebration of Jesus' birth found in so many countries. Street after street is bathed in light, with good and...More

Lots of clothing shops, souvenir stores. It is the main shopping district in Tbilisi and during Christmas time there are many Christmas trees decorated along this avenue. Love the atmosphere!
