    Affordable and interesting
Cheapest ride I have ever had on a arial tramway ever which was a good start. Of course, the ride only lasts around 4 minutes but you get a beautiful view over Tbilisi and it is interesting to see Mother Georgia up close. They do not accept credit card payment so keep this in mind

An awesome thing to do in Tbilisi
If you don't have a fear of heights, then this one is for you. A fairly cheap and awesome way to catch a great views of the old town . The cable car will take you from one side to another over the river and you will be able to visit Narikala (old fortress) and Botanical Garden if you are interested. Cheap fare.

    Beautiful views to be had!
Best utilized at night, to go up the hill, imho. There are indeed beautiful views to be had. Not only from the top, but also on the ride up! Convenient to visit Narikala Fortress and the Mother of Georgia statue. Some may enjoy it more than others, especially if you are none too fond of heights!

A must thing to do when you are strolling the city. No need to book for a tour guide for this. It is so convenient to go and cheap as well. It is worth the adventure finding the Mother of Georgia statue.

This is a very convenient way to see the Narikala Fortress and the Mother of Georgia statue. You also get some nice views of the city too. Take this up and walk back down (or vis-versa) for the full effect.

The cable car is a cheap and convenient way to take you from the Bridge of Peace area to the Narikala Fortress. Along the way you'll get great views of the Old City, Metheki Cathedral and the Kura River.
I don't understand why it's #2 attraction on TripAdvisor, it is just a means of transport, on itself not particularly exciting or interesting.

Everything was great except there are NO toilets at the top and no signs indicating that at the bottom. A pathetic mistake at such a popular tourist attraction…..

Great inexpensive way to get a nice over view of the city. It is an easy on easy off way to soar up above the Peace Bridge.

I'm not the biggest fan of heights but this was fine and is the best way to get from the riverside to Narikala Fortress overlooking the city.
