Nice Castle !

Even though it is not well preserved, it is worth it to climb it in order to see the skyline of the city, Tbilisi. Really nice at night time !

Being in Tbilisi from November 14th to 17th , Narikala was one of the tourist attractions I was interested in to see . Getting up by the tramway , you could see the fortress . It seems old and nice. The considerable issue which attracted me was the view at night .

It was an enjoyable trip. The old church was the great attraction. Be ready to go by about 200 stairs up and down.

Ancient fortress on the hill in the city center. Climb here, you can use the cable car. Lovely panoramic view of the old town. Be sure to visit.

Much of the castle is in ruins but there are spectacular views of the city from the battlements. Some of the steps that lead to the top of the walls are steep and narrow and might not be accessible to everyone. Entry to the fortress is free.

Nice city view is actually only good. Fortress itself is nothing spectacular. You can see some old vinery remains on top of the hill with all amphoras etc..

It is located on top of the hill. Needs a lot of climbing. It is a good exercise if your leaving a sedentary lifestyle like me. But when you reached the top it is worth the climb.

The fortress is free to go, you can reach it by either walking from the city center or botanical garden, or take the aerial cable car offering wonderful views over the city. Go to the top of the tower with the cross on it is very dangerous because there are no stairs, you have to climb the rocks. I highly... More

It was up alongside Mother Georgia, it was great to see the town from up there. There is a church inside the fortress.
