Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

An interesting monument, but especially to go, I advise you not to look. Unless traveling in that direction. A large area, an endless line of cars, subway station nearby. Hustle, bustle ... And in the midst of all this commotion is such a quiet island.

Really cute, almost surreal statues in an unconventional location. They should be in a less chaotic, busy area and in their own park, but definitely worth seeing on your way back from the cathedral.

Back to soviet childhood. Back to endocrinologists international congress, tires, orange crocodile, chito grito and tears in phone. Next to Armenian dramatic theatre of Tbilisi, that will celebrate 160th anniversary next year

Tbilisi sure loves its' sculptures, which are everywhere. This is one of them. Unless you are a fan of this very old movie, this monument will not be much of an interest to you. It stands not far from a bus stop and metro station, so if you are in the area you would pass it by.

This is quite regular square that you see in any city. The statues are quite fine, but nothing special. Worth seeing only for those having special sentiment for the movie.

another awful creation by well known soviet "sculptor-businessman" zurab tsereteli, this object was not allowed to be placed in Moscow, but zurab somehow managed to do so in Tbilisi, unfortunately :(

This monument is dedicated to the movie which was popular in Soviet Union and I can assume that for some older tourists it looks very nostalgic.
In general, this is absolutely nothing special and not worth to go there specially to visit it. At the same time you will not miss it walking around or visiting main church of Tbilisi.

Exquisitely cast and crafted, this hidden and forgotten gem of Georgian art is situated at a prime junction (that now-a-days, quite unfortunately, only sees a rush of vehicles).

Its placement in a micro park right at the foot of a pedestrian bridge connecting Metekhi with the Avlabari metro must have stemmed out of a vision to enhance interaction of art with and appreciation among the public. Instead, with an underpass providing more convenient connectivity, the foot overbridge is mostly abandoned. As a consequence, this installation is shrouded in apathy despite being in full view.

For those who have seen and loved the movie Mimino, this modest stop is well worth it.

The monument commemorates the first movies made in Europe. The used a camera obscura. It is well worth seeing.
